Remember this post I wrote about why I closed my Etsy shop? It still rings true for me that Etsy and other crafty marketplaces can be damaging to businesses, as well as incuabators for those starting out. I wanted to share with you an article I found earlier today that summed up my thoughts and put a new slant on the debate. It's all about building relationships with customers and how if you are confronting your customers with someone else's branding from start to finish, it may mean you're facing an uphill struggle to have your customers remember you.
